Day 75 – United Arab Emirates

Michael has 4 days left of his 79 days of abstinence from meat, fish and sugary treats! Today represents the lack of LGBTQ rights in the United Arab Emirates. As stated in section 354 of the Penal Code, homosexuality in the United Arab Emirates is considered to be illegal, and people who are found to be guilty can face imprisonment, fines, chemical castrations and even death.
