Michael is 2 weeks in to his ‘79 days’ abstinence challenge, where he’s given up meat, fish and sweet treats to raise awareness of the lack of LGBTQ rights in the 79 countries where it’s illegal to be homosexual.

Today represents The Cook Islands, where homosexuality is illegal with a penalty of up to 14 years of imprisonment. Same sex activity committed by men is illegal, yet it must be considered that homosexual acts committed by women are legal.
