Day 29 marks the start of week 5 of Michael’s ‘79 Days’ challenge, where Michael is abstaining from meat, fish and sugary treats to raise awareness of the lack of LGBTQ rights in 79 countries around the world.

Today represents Jamaica, a country where people who identify as LBGTQ can face up to 10 years of imprisonment if they’re found to be guilty of committing same-sex sexual activity. Jamaica has also been described as one of the most homophobic countries in the world due to the high level of violent crimes directed at LGBTQ people.
